YNW Melly's Alleged Victim's Dad Goes Off On Boosie Badazz

Rapper Boosie Badazz has come under fire for openly supporting YNW Melly, who is currently on trial for a double murder. The father of one of the alleged victims criticized Boosie for attending Melly's trial and showing sympathy for the embattled rapper.

YNW Melly, whose real name is Jamell Demons, is accused of killing two of his friends, Christopher Thomas Jr. and Anthony Williams, in 2018. The trial began this week in Florida.

Boosie Badazz, who hails from Baton Rouge like Thomas Jr., has posted multiple times on Instagram in support of Melly during the trial. However, Thomas Jr.'s father condemned Boosie's stance in a video online.

He said in the video: "Everybody that’s saying free Melly, that’s to you and your mama and your daddy and everybody that look like you...Boosie down there supporting Melly - he flaw as fk for that. He don't even know that n*a Melly."

He criticized Boosie for not supporting Marlo Mike, another Louisianan rapper facing legal issues, and told Boosie to "go back to your hometown."

Boosie Badazz has not publicly responded to the victim's father. However, he wrote on Instagram that Melly's trial has inspired him to consider becoming a defense attorney.

Melly faces life in prison without parole or the death penalty if convicted of the double murder charges.
