Snoop Dogg and E-40’s 'Goon with the Spoon' Cookbook Features Decadent Recipes with a Hip-Hop Twist
Hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg and E-40 have teamed up to release their first collaborative cookbook, "Goon with the Spoon." The cookbook, which is set to be published by Chronicle Books, the same company that published Snoop's first cookbook, "From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen," back in 2018, will feature over 65 delicious recipes that borrow elements from the duo's music.
Snoop Dogg, who gives major props to his Mount Westmore cohort at the beginning of the cookbook, said, “E-40 is my big homie, my brother, my mentor. Watching him expand his love for food and cooking over the years to his many successful businesses is some boss-level sh*t. Which is why Snoop Dogg Presents Goon with the Spoon had to be the next cookbook, ya dig?”
The book's publisher promises that "Goon with the Spoon" will be the "seriously entertaining new addition fans are hungry for."
Snoop, who has been on a food kick lately, recently unveiled his Jack In The Box "Munchie Meal," which caused fans to wonder if it contained weed. The meal includes a Spicy Sauced & Loaded Chicken Sando, one taco, Seasoned Curly Fries, and a large fountain drink, with Snoop adding the finishing touch of a Baked Brownie.
In September 2022, Snoop announced the launch of his second Broadus Foods line, Momma Snoop Breakfast Foods, weeks after releasing the first brand, Snoop Loopz. The rapper and business mogul introduced the collection via Instagram, stating that it consists of traditional breakfast staples like instant grits, oatmeal, maple syrup, and pancake mix. Broadus Foods is a partnership between Snoop (real name Calvin Broadus) and Master P, who have dubbed themselves the "Kings of Breakfast Foods" and founded the company to continue the legacy of Snoop's mother, Beverly Tate, who was passionate about feeding families in her community. Tate passed away in October 2021.
With "Goon with the Spoon" and his breakfast food line, Snoop Dogg is proving that he's not just a hip-hop icon but also a culinary mastermind. Fans can't wait to get their hands on the cookbook and try out the mouthwatering recipes that are sure to be a hit in any kitchen.
