Lil Wayne Confirms "Tha Carter VI" Is In The Works

‘Tha Carter’ series did not reach its final destination.

In a recent interview with Variety, Lil Wayne teased a sixth installation of Tha Carter series coming soon. When asked which of the five projects from the series was his favorite, he responded, “My favorite Carter album is the next one.”

Last summer, Tunechi informed Q93 in New Orleans that he didn’t know whether there would ever be a Cater VI. However, a recent turn of event may have changed his mind.

Lil Wayne is known for keeping his fans on the edge holding onto their hats. He has blessed fans with 5 projects from ‘Tha Carter’ series since 2004. His most recent installation, Tha Carter V, dropped after a four year wait in 2018. It had features from Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott, XXXTentacion, Nicki Minaj, Ashanti, and more.
